Zell Miller Scholarship 2022- Check Eligibility

Zell Miller is a merit-based scholarship program available to students who have met the University System of Georgia and the GSFC residency requirements.

About Zell Miller Scholarship

In March 2011, the Zell Miller Scholarship was established for Georgia’s top students. The Georgia Student Finance Commission initially determines whether students are qualified for the Zell Miller Scholarship (GSFC).

Students can check their HOPE GPA to see if they qualify for the Zell Miller Scholarship. Students won’t get the Zell Miller Scholarship until KSU has confirmation from GSFC of their standing.

Eligibility

  • Must complete an application – FAFSA or GSFAPPS.
  • Meet U.S. citizenship or eligible non-citizen requirements.
  • Be registered with Selective Service, if required.
  • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress as defined by the college.
  • Not be in default or owe a refund due on a student financial aid program.
  • Be in compliance with the Georgia Drug-Free Postsecondary Education Act of 1990.
  • Must be confirmed as a Zell Miller Scholar by GSFC

Zell Miller GPA Reviews

All students must maintain a 3.30 HOPE GPA at their 30, 60 and 90 attempted hours checkpoint and at the end of every Spring semester.

Benefits

The amount of the Zell Miller Scholarship fluctuates and is based on the sort of institution you are attending as well as your precise attendance hours.

For the specific number of hours enrolled, whether full-time or part-time, students who meet all eligibility requirements and are enrolled in an eligible public college or university receive a Zell Miller Scholarship award.
