The World Bank Legal Internship Program is available for presently enrolled law school students three times a year for a maximum three-month period at World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Every year, the WB Summer Internship runs from May to September. The internship lasts for a total of four weeks.


  • All interns receive hourly pay from the WB, which covers their living expenses and meal expenses.
  • Provides an allowance toward Return Airfare Travel Expenses up to USD 3,000 at the discretion of the manager.


  • There is no age limit.
  • An undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of languages such as French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, and Chinese is desirable. Other skills such as computing skills are advantageous.
  • All qualified individuals with diverse professional and academic backgrounds are to apply.
