Eligibility Criteria

• Going for a BS, MS, or higher degree in an engineering field, such as electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
• A developer’s proficiency in one or more of the following: languages used frequently in business, such as Python, Go, Java, C++, etc.
• Experience in infrastructure and service construction and/or maintenance.
• React, JS, Angular, CSS, MySQL, MS SQL, and Oracle are nice to haves.
• Excellent understanding of the foundational ideas in computer science and the capacity to write clean code.
• Eagerness to work cross-functionally and independently with other engineering teams; attention to detail and execution is a must.
• Genuine interest and a desire to comprehend the development, construction, and operation of our products.

Essential Responsibilities

• Extraordinarily quickly. Strong candidates will either have full-stack experience or be exceptional software generalists.

• Software for infotainment: The infotainment team is in charge of developing the best-in-class driving experiences currently available.

• The field sApps Engineering: Tesla’s engineering teams, including Connected Systems, Firmware, and Autopilot, are presently looking for an intern to help architect, create, manage, and run the Infrastructure & applications. 

• You will plan, build, implement, and manage continuing Infrastructure components in this role, which supports the advancement of Tesla’s technologies and vehicles.

• Business Operations & Infrastructure: To power our internal software and processes, the Infrastructure Engineering team develops and deploys a wide range of services and solutions. 

• The initiatives you fund will have a big impact on the company and help us expand the support team’s efforts multiplied by the tools, procedures, and educational materials that the service engineering team creates.

• They fill the gap between how our products are engineered and how they perform in the real world. This team’s interns will work on everything from product support to software tools for diagnostics.

• Vehicle Software: The team is continually pushing the limits of performance and in-car experiences, placing it at the forefront of innovation. Interns will collaborate with experienced engineers to develop services and features that set our vehicles different from the competition, including over-the-air upgrades and Tesla maps and user interface.
