About Project Management Internship

You will work on projects that will provide you with practical experience with IT tools, project management methodologies, business analysis, quality assurance, and change management. 

Interns Required Skills and Experience 

  • Collaborative: Employ good interpersonal skills to actively listen and communicate in ways that build trust and demonstrate flexibility. Easily transition from follower to leader on teams. Adapt your strategy or procedure to the situation.
  • Self-Directed: Must be able to finish projects with little supervision. Capability to take charge and ask for assistance when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in managing schedules and milestones; ensure that team members provide weekly project progress updates.
  • Documenting resource requirements, availability, and obligations
  • Identifying and managing scope, restrictions, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and deadlines, as well as documenting risk mitigation plans
  • Assisting with project paperwork and other deliverables.
  • Wireframes, mockups, prototypes, screen designs, and report layouts are all created.
  • Coordination of user testing components, creation of test cases, scheduling of UAT cycles, setup of test data, and participation in UAT

Qualifications

  • Excellent Microsoft Office or comparable capabilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • Junior, senior, or current graduate student studying Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Business Administration (or a similar discipline), or equivalent work experience
  • During the semester of their appointment, they must be registered Fordham students in good academic standing.
  • Assisting with project paperwork and other deliverables.
  • Wireframes, mockups, prototypes, screen designs, and report layouts are all created.
  • Coordination of user testing components, creation of test cases, scheduling of UAT cycles, setup of test data, and participation in UAT

This internship will allow you to gain experience in Project Management and Information Technology.
