About Nutrition Internship
As an intern, you will assist in promoting healthy choices, assessing client needs, planning menus, writing reports, and other administrative duties. Unlike authorized dietetic internships, which are only available to postgraduates
Nutrition internships are available to all qualifying candidates. While many jurisdictions need nutritionists to be licensed and certified, people with a bachelor’s degree and internship experience can work as a nutrition counselor, researcher, health educator, or nutritional consultant.
As a nutritionist, you won’t be short of possibilities, as the Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that the number of dietitian and nutritionist employment will increase 11% over the next decade.

- Candidates that are eligible will intern the summer before their final graduation date (typically rising seniors)

Essential Duties

- Use planning tools to analyze and manage network inventory requirements while balancing customer service and cost.
- Consolidates SKUs to build truckloads of finished items from factory to warehouse, making the optimum use of freight transportation expenses.
- Implement the appropriate activities to positively impact replenishment KPIs (Customer Fill Rate, Replenishment On-Time shipping, Intermodal Utilization, Payload Utilization, etc)
- Participate actively in daily/weekly operations review meetings and identify risks/opportunities as needed.
- Determine and manage projects that will result in continuous improvement and cost savings.
