Eligibility Criteria for IMF Internship Program

• Applicants must be analytically strong.
• Applicants must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
• A G4 visa is required for students who are not US citizens or residents to work at the IMF.
• Acceptable work authorization, such as CPT, is required if you have an F-1 visa.

Doctoral Students

• Applicants must be registered as active students and be willing to return to their studies after completing the internship program.
• Applicants must be under the age of 32 at the start of the internship.
• Master’s Degree Students:

• You must have completed studies in monetary, international economics, public finance, financial markets, and other related fields. Applicants must be active students who are willing to work.
