Folds of Honor Scholarship: Application Update
The Folds of Honor Scholarships are unique sponsorship programs that have been thoughtfully created to help address the unmet needs of the dependents of deceased or injured military members.
About Folds of Honor Scholarship
The US Major Dan Rooney, an F-16 Jet Fighter pilot at the time, founded the Folds of Honor Foundation.
His desire to show compassion for those who had died while serving in the US military and his efforts to support their families led to the creation of the foundation.
This took place when they arrived home from Saudi Arabia with Corporal Brock Bucklin’s remains. His actions were motivated by the grief and anguish that the departed family’s relatives had caused.
The entire purpose of the 501C-3 nonprofit organization Folds of Honor Foundation is to offer educational scholarships to the families of these brave Americans.
